A Memorable Retreat: Uniting all Principals and Teachers at Canopy Villa Tampik Valley
At Bao Bei Reading Wonderland, we strongly believe in fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for both principals and teachers. Recently, we organized a remarkable 2-Day-1-Night team building retreat at the serene Canopy Villa Tampik Valley. This getaway aimed to bring together educators from various branches, offering them a chance to bond, relax, and share their experiences. In this blog post, we hope to share you the highlights of our rejuvenating retreat, emphasizing the growth opportunities we provide for our teachers and inviting those interested to join our close-knit family.
 

A Day Filled with Connection and Fun
The retreat commenced with a delightful gathering over lunch at 126 Restaurant, Bukit Tinggi. Following a delicious meal, we embarked on a scenic journey to Canopy Villa Tampik Valley. Upon arrival, the teachers engaged in invigorating team building games that encouraged collaboration and camaraderie. One particularly exciting game was "Secure Your Egg," where groups were challenged to protect their eggs from attacks of other group members.
 

Relaxation and Nurturing Bonds
The retreat was designed to provide a relaxed schedule, allowing teachers to unwind and connect with their peers. After an energetic round of team building activities, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved rest. During this downtime, teachers had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and strengthen their relationships. A memorable potluck party ensued, where principals and teachers from different branches showcased their culinary skills by preparing their favourite dishes. The atmosphere was filled with delectable aromas and the joy of sharing delicious food.
 

Growth and Reflection 
At noon, the teachers savoured the scrumptious potluck dishes, further enhancing the sense of togetherness. As the evening approached, a captivating campfire talk took place, creating an intimate setting for teachers to share their invaluable experiences as principals and teachers. Tales of impactful teaching moments, challenges overcome, and the rewards of making a difference in students' lives were exchanged, inspiring and motivating all present. The open dialogue fostered personal growth, encouraging each individual to reflect upon their own teaching journeys.
