Since the establishment of Bao Bei Reading Wonderland in 1999, Bao Bei has been actively participating in CSR projects, charity work and volunteering. From bringing joy through storytelling to involving in flood relief project, the Bao Bei family has demonstrated great compassion and generosity. We believe that together we are able to make powerful changes, inspire and empower the community of Malaysia.

We are truly honored to collaborate with the Ministry of Education to promote the Malay Language Workshop (Bengkel Kerja Peningkatan Literasi Bahasa Melayu). This initiative aims to help teachers enhance students’ interest in learning and using Malay, enriching both their linguistic skills and cultural understanding.

Little Volunteers
|
Children from Dream House of the Hidden Star and their disabled friends had the opportunity to experience being "little bosses" for a day. The event featured art exhibitions and talent performances by the children, as well as the sale of children's books and professional massage services for the visually impaired.

6th Charity Luncheon with Elderly and Orphans

The 6th "Gratitude Luncheon with Orphans and the Elderly" co-organized by Yayasan Nanyang Press and Bao Bei Reading Wonderland was enthusiastically sponsored by 92 kind-hearted public, gathering 91 orphans and 36 elderly people to feel the warmth of the world.

Dream Garden For the Hidden Star
|
Dream House for the Hidden Stars was set up by Yayasan Nanyang Press as a platform for children with learning disablities from lower income families to learn for free. Here, the autistic children are called “The Star” because they are hard to predict and understand, just like the stars flickering high up in the sky.

|
To help the less fortunate efficiently, the 【16 Navigators Visit With Compassion】 was set up on 27th March 2012 to visit medical patients around West Malaysia monthly. On the last Sunday of every month, the Foundation will visit poor families to spread the spirit of giving and sharing.

Happy Family Charity Movie Day
|
In conjunction with this year’s teaching theme, Bao Bei Reading Wonderland co-organized “Happy Family Charity Movie Day” with Nanyang Press Foundation on 10 June 2012. This event has received enthusiastic support from TGV CINEMA, a partner unit, and invited more than 400 orphans and poor single-parent families to TGV Cinema, KLCC to watch animation films and spend happy time with Bao Bei’s students and parents, and share the fun.
